Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CATIA Surface and Wireframe Designer. The ideal candidate will be an expert in using CATIA software to create precise 3D surface models from provided drawings. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, engineering concepts, and the ability to translate complex designs into tangible models.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed 3D surface models using CATIA software based on provided 2D drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback into models.
Utilize CATIA’s wireframe and surfacing tools to craft complex geometries with precision.
Perform quality checks to ensure models meet all technical and design criteria.
Document modeling processes and maintain a library of created models for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest CATIA updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven expertise in CATIA V5/V6 with a focus on surface and wireframe design.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous 3D modeling work.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field is preferred.
