Convert Sketchup model into ArGIS City Engine – Upwork

I’m looking for a GIS technician who has experience with our GIS city engine. My company is involved in urban planning and we want to move to city engine as the cornerstone for our future Work method procedures.

We want to understand how city engine functions and be able to provide this freelancer with the correct tools to manage the GIS side of things. For example, one of our towns has now been drawn in SketchUp with terrain taken from satellite data. We are also planning to get Lidar for this project.

To be in if we would like to explore how this project appears in city engine and can be manipulated to suit future planning changes. Ideally, the freelancer has access to city engine however we are planning to get our own license for this product as part of our existing GIS subscription. However, first we wanted to explore the benefits and use this project as as experiment.

The task will be opening up this project in city engine and making some changes to the plan and showing zoning maps etc, so that we can present to our client on this in the coming weeks.

To demonstrate you have an understanding of this task, please take a screenshot of the SketchUp model attached to the link below open in city engine. This will enable us to make a quick decision on your ability and proceed properly.

I’ve also attached links to the satellite image which is Gia referenced so that you can have an accurate location of this model.
