Exterior House Designer Needed for Material Selection – Upwork

We are seeking a talented and creative exterior house designer to provide material ideas for a single-family home. The house is a California Ranch Style with a Hip roof, and we are looking to enhance its curb appeal with a fresh and modern look.

Scope of Work:

• Material Ideas: Provide three material options for the exterior of the house, including:
• Option 1: White smooth stucco and white brick (our preferred choice), with fixed shutters around select front-facing windows.
• Option 2: A second material option to complement the house’s style.
• Option 3: A third material option that offers a distinct but aesthetically pleasing look.
• Front Door & Garage Door Suggestions: Offer recommendations for front door and garage door styles and materials that coordinate with each of the three exterior material options.

Requirements:

• Experience in exterior home design, specifically with Ranch Style homes.
• Ability to provide visual references or mock-ups of suggested materials.
• Knowledge of materials suitable for the California climate.
• Creative and open to feedback.
• Ability to deliver the design options within the next week.

Deliverables:

• A detailed report or presentation with the three material options, including images, textures, and potential color palettes.
• Suggested front door and garage door designs that match each material option.
• Any additional recommendations for enhancing the home’s exterior appearance.

Future Opportunities:

We are looking to build a long-term relationship with a designer who can also assist with landscape design and interior design projects in the near future.

Budget: Please provide your rate for the project. We are looking for a cost-effective solution but are open to negotiation based on experience and quality of work.
