Only the exterior is needed in the 3D model — so walls do not need to have any thickness, and no interior walls or floors are needed. Accuracy of the exterior dimensions (in plan and section) is important.
Materials do not need to be added, although you can if that makes it easier to model. I can add materials later.
Where possible, individual building components should be modeled as groups or components. Each window should be a component.
Level of detail should be sufficient to allow the model to look good from a perspective similar to those in the attached photos. So, for instance, window muntins do not need to have precise ogee curves in them but can be square. But muntins do need to have width. Similarly, siding will be a SketchUp texture but trim boards need to project out from the siding 3/4".
