We are seeking a dedicated and organized Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team as an HR Administrator. This role will primarily involve managing HR-related tasks remotely during Pacific Standard Time (PST) working hours. The ideal candidate will excel in administrative duties, possess a strong understanding of HR processes, and demonstrate proficiency in handling HRIS systems.
Responsibilities:
Manage HR Inbox: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries received via the HR inbox, ensuring all communications are handled with confidentiality and accuracy.
Handle Level 1 Employee Inquiries: Address and resolve basic employee queries received via designated communication channels, escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel.
Maintain HRIS: Utilize HRIS systems effectively to update employee records, manage documentation, and generate reports as required.
Organize HR Documentation: Maintain and update employee handbook, policies, and other relevant HR documents, ensuring they are readily accessible and compliant.
Coordinate HR Projects: Assist in coordinating HR projects such as recruitment processes, employee onboarding, training programs, and performance evaluations.
Support Compliance Efforts: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and best practices in all HR-related activities.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in HR administration or a similar role, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using HRIS software (e.g., UKG, BambooHR, Workday) and familiarity with other HR tools and platforms.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Adaptability: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Availability: Able to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours and attend virtual meetings as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is advantageous.
Certifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Remote Work Experience: Previous experience working remotely or in a virtual team environment is preferred.
