Experienced Bookkeeper for Australian Business – Upwork

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term basis. As an Australian business, it is crucial that the bookkeeper has a strong understanding of Australian law and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and timely financial record-keeping. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
   
   Responsibilities:
   – Maintaining accurate financial records and transactions
   – Preparing and processing invoices and payments
   – Reconciling bank statements and financial data
   – Monitoring and managing accounts payable and receivable
   – Generating financial reports and statements
   
   Skills required:
   – Proficiency in using Xero
   – Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax laws
   – Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
   – Excellent organisational and time management skills
   
This is a medium-sized project with long term duration. We are looking for an expert bookkeeper who can hit the ground running and ensure our financial records are meticulously maintained.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$20.00
