PHG assists companies with accounting/bookkeeping, strategic finance such as forecasting/budgeting, implementing key performance indicators and other strategic advisory services. Primary focus is roofing companies with revenues between $8-45mm. PHG also has a buyside M&A arm where it works with blue-chip multibillion dollar private equity firms
Position: Head of Bookkeeping
Qualifications:
Years of experience: 8+
Formal education in accounting required
Expert in Quickbooks required
Fluent speaker comfortable with client interactions
Reason for hire: Growth and ability to serve more clients. Looking for a strong leader, self learner, and accounting expert to lead our bookkeeping function
Responsibilities:
– Managing client communication of monthly close process
-Manage and maintain the books for assigned clients reporting under cash or accrual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
– develop standard bookkeeping playbook with clear process and SOP
– Manage client onboarding
– Manage cleanups
– manage cash to accrual conversion
– Establish and maintain job costing
– Familiarity with bill.com a plus
– manage WIP adjustments
– manage cash and credit card reconciliations
– GAAP accounting
– Chart of account restructure
– CRM to Quickbooks
– Variance analysis
– Devlop journal entries
– AR / AP management
– Fixed asset register and depreciation management
Hourly Range: $15.00-$20.00
