As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled HR Consultant to join our team on a part-time, per-project, or per-call basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our HR, office management, and IT functions.
Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced HR Consultant to help manage our human resources, office management, and IT activities. This role will ensure our team is productive, engaged, and compliant with all policies and procedures. The consultant will act as a key advisor and support for our leadership team, ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
– Oversee recruitment and hiring processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
– Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring legal compliance.
– Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and terminations.
– Administer payroll, benefits, and performance reviews.
– Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
– Update team bios on Notion and ensure adherence to the team handbook.
– Ensure employees complete necessary training, such as HIPAA compliance.
Office Management:
– Coordinate office management tasks for smooth daily operations.
– Monitor and streamline productivity tracking and reporting.
– Facilitate regular check-ins with employees to discuss job satisfaction and monitor goals.
– Compile and analyze employee performance data for reports to the CEO.
– Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
IT and Tools Management:
– Implement and manage IT processes, including password protection and employee offboarding.
– Provide support and training for tools like OrgaNice to enhance team organization and engagement.
– Act as a point of contact for IT issues and queries.
– Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Proven experience in HR, preferably within a small business or consultancy setting.
– Strong understanding of HR principles, legal compliance, and best practices.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially.
– Experience with productivity and performance management tools is a plus.
Working Conditions:
– This role is remote and requires flexibility to schedule 1:1 meetings with employees.
– Anticipated workload is 5-7 hours per week initially, with potential growth to 10-15 hours as the company expands.
Hourly Range: $5.00-$20.00
