Explainer Animation Videos for TV Documentary about Blockchain – Upwork

= = = No generic "we can do this" offers. Need to see specific samples, similar to what we are looking for = = =

This is our international TV documentary: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bitcointheendofmoney/cryptopia-bitcoin-blockchains-and-the-future-of-th

We will need bout 15 videos between 20 seconds and 90 seconds long. In total we estimate about 8 minutes and 4 new 'scenes' per minute. However, these are not 15 completely different videos. Many of the videos revisit or build on previous ones as they get increasingly complex.

We look for a freelancer or studio that has done similar work for television before and would like to work with someone who understands technology (Blockchain) to make it easier.

The style that we're after is a clean design with a lot of charts like in this video (10 seconds):

Feel free to suggest a few other innovative styles. Please note, that we do not need high fidelity or lifelike character design. Everything is abstract. The objects we need are bank buildings, computers, locks, keys, etc.

Here is a good blockchain animation (in 3D) that we like.

The animations do not have to be in 3D (but it would be nice). We are looking for something that doesn't feel like a cheap YouTube animation. I am attaching a few rough storyboards for your reference and calculation.

We will brief you with specific story boards and provide the final narration for you. The delivery format is in 4k (3840 pixels by 2160 pixels) and 23.98 fps. Our team consists of experienced documentary makers and the documentary is supported by film grants and international broadcasters.

Quick turnaround in 24 hour cycles and good communication is important. Assuming you have done similar work, please provide references for those projects.

The production process will look like this:
1. We finalize the VO and timings
2. You provide animatics to match timings
3. We provide feedback on design, transitions, movement, etc.
4. You create animation
5. We provide 1 round of notes, if necessary
6. You finalize the animation.

Given the information above, we'd like to see some samples/ideas and a solid bid on the project,
including a per minute estimate.

Budget: $8,000
