I need someone to make any necessary modifications to my 3D model, and provide the NC program so that it can be milled on my 5-axis CNC machine. The model was originally created to be 3D printed, so we may need to separate some parts so that they can be machined (with the understanding that they will need to fit together to be assembled later.) For example, I was told the multiple heads might need to be separated to be milled. (I don’t want to make changes to the way the model looks, but rather separate any parts so that they can be milled separately but will look as if everything was milled as one piece once assembled.)

You must use Fusion360 and have the Machining extension.

I recently purchased a CNC machine but I don’t know how to use it yet. The company I bought the machine from does come out and help do the initial machine set up and training, and told me we can train using my models if they’re ready to cut – so I’d like to have this model ready for manufacture when they arrive.

The machine was recently delivered and I am in the process of setting it up.

Here’s what I’d like you to do:

– set up the job for my machine in Fusion
– Making any necessary edits to the 3D model so the sculpture can be milled with my machine.
– Choosing the proper tools
– Creating the toolpaths
– Setting up the automatic tool change operations
– Provide the cut files, 3D models, and CNC simulation files
– Providing the NC program to mill the sculpture in Fusion360

The goal will be to mill the sculpture out of wood or architectural foam.

I am attaching pics of the model, as well as my machine f3d and post processor. I have STL files and the model is currently separated into 3 parts (A base, the body, and the back). It is a relatively complex sculpture, so it is a big undertaking for an initial job on the CNC, but it should also be a great opportunity to learn my machine, the software, and get up and running.

Here is some information on the machine;
The machine is a Laguna Tools SmartShop 5-Axis. With a 4’x8’ XY-cut bed and a 36” Z-height.

Here are the specs;

– Laguna universal vacuum table – pod ready
– 6 Independently Controlled Vacuum Zones
– Adjustable pop-up pins
– Fanuc 5 Axis Industrial Controller with TCP
– 1500 watt servo package
– Full 3D capability with Helical Interpolation
– Rapid travel up to 2500 ipm
– Cutting speeds up to 1200 ipm
– 150 PSI CLEAN DRY AIR NECESSARY FOR HSD HS 300
– HEAD

Tooling Kit – SmartShop II, SUV, III
1 – 1-1/2” straight bit
2 – 1/4“ down shear spiral
2 – 3/8” down shear spiral
1 – 90 degree v-bit
2 – 1/4“ compression bits
2 – 3/8” compression bits
2 – 1/4“ ER32 collets
2 – 3/8” ER32 collets
1 – 10mm ER32 collet
3 – 1/2“ ER32 collet
2 – 5mm drill bits

I am also open to purchasing any tooling you recommend to complete the job.

I received the machine setup screenshot (attached) from the manufacturer.
3D STL files will be provided.

Looking forward to working together!

Project Name:
LVUFT 3D Models

Project Description:
We are looking to balance high-quality 3D models with low computational demand, given their deployment in VR environments. These models will be used in a VR simulation using 3DoF (three degrees of freedom) across various training scenarios. The purpose is to allow users to familiarise themselves with the basic functionality of the devices and understand how they work and respond. Therefore, the ideal delivered products will feature a reduced polygon count, with a maximum of 2K texturing, while maintaining as much realism as possible.

Models:
Ferrolux RX (Control Unit)
Ferrolux RX (Sensor)
Ferrolux FLG12 (Audio frequency generator)
Ferrolux TF10 (Separation Filter)
LV (Low-Voltage) Substation Unit
Banana plug
Alligator clip
Earthing spike
(8 total)

Level of Detail:
Low to mid polygon count (100 – 10,000), focusing on key details that contribute to the realistic appearance of the models without overwhelming the hardware in a VR environment.

File Format Required:
.FBX files preferred.

Textures & Materials:
Textures are restricted to 2K resolution or lower to accommodate VR hardware limitations. We aim for a realistic visual quality using various mapping techniques, such as diffuse, normal, height, and specular maps. PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows are preferred to ensure consistent and realistic material appearances. Normal and specular maps are required, while height maps are optional depending on the model’s complexity.

Dimensions & Scale:
Models should be to scale using the metric system. Technical data and dimensions can be found in Megger’s user guides for each product, which will be attached to this project commission. Accurate scaling is critical for compatibility with other components in the VR environment.

Reference Images & Resources:
Reference images and user guides for the products (where available) will be included with this project commission. Please note that while the references for the LV Substation Unit are somewhat limited, achieving high realism for this component is less critical compared to the other devices.

Technical Requirements
Software Preferences:
The choice of software for modelling and texturing is left to your professional judgment. We trust that you will select the tools that yield the highest quality results.

Unit System:
Models should be created using meters as the unit of measurement to ensure consistency across all components.

File Naming Conventions:
Please use a clear and consistent naming convention for all files, such as [ModelName]_v[VersionNumber].fbx.

Rigging & Animation:
These models are intended to be static, with no rigging or animation required.

Project Timeline
Start Date: ASAP (current date 20.08.24)

Initial Model Drafts: August 26th, 2024
Delivery of initial drafts for all six models.

First Review and Feedback: August 27th, 2024
Review of the initial drafts with feedback provided for necessary adjustments.

Final Model Submission: August 30th, 2024
Delivery of the final, revised models.

Given the short timeline, prompt communication and quick iteration will be critical to meet the final deadline.

Communication
Preferred Communication Channel:
We prefer to communicate via Upwork messages, but we can also accommodate communication via email or Microsoft Teams if necessary.

Frequency of Updates:
Please provide daily updates on progress as we approach the final delivery date.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
All work on this project is subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Freelancers will be required to sign an NDA before starting work to ensure that all project-related information and assets are kept confidential.

I am looking for some civils drawings of a new culdesac. Address is 30 McGrath Road, Mareeba. Queensland. You can view most data via- https://msc.qld.gov.au/council/building-planning/planning/ I have attached the proposed subdivision plan, and the FNQROC standard for the street access. Power and water will run on the northern verge next to the road to each lot. There is no sewer, each lot will have it’s own septic. Some of the overlay mapping says this area floods, but it is incorrect by 3m. but some storm water run off will need to be considered. advise your anticipated hours required to complete. estimated time to completion. And is there any warranty/insurance on your design.

I am looking for someone beginner who has good knowledge of working with 3D’s max and basic common sense about Architectural 3D modeling.

I just want to create Landscape Modelling on the rooftop as per attached photo. Needs to leave empty slot for the Textures. NO RENDERING is REQUIRED. Just need to place any basic sofa, chair model so later i can replace the same with my own asset.

I need to make some 6 rooftops similar to it and i just want to start with first one. I will provide my own roof for modelling purpose and you need to work on it.  Please see the attached image for reference.
