We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Amazon Virtual Assistant/Product Research Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research to discover high-potential products for Amazon FBA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting market research, sourcing high-demand and profitable products, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing sales data to make data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research to identify profitable niche opportunities for FBA
• Source products from trusted suppliers and manufacturers
• Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers
• Analyze competition and market trends to determine product viability and profitability
• Analyze product sales and profitability data to make data-driven decisions
• Create detailed product reports and business plans to support decision-making
• Utilize various research tools and techniques to find products with high demand and low competition
• Utilize my Jungle Scout account
Requirements:
• Strong experience in product sourcing and hunting for Amazon marketplace
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
• Proficiency with Jungle Scout research tools and software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Amazon’s policies and procedures
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Product Requirements
• I want to start with 1 – 2 products
• 45%+ ROI
• Product should be from an authentic supplier/distributor
• These shouldn’t be seasonal products
• Product should have a differentiated feature (i.e., if someone is buying a pour over coffee maker, should we bundle a filter or include filters in the product?)
• At a minimum, the research spreadsheet should include:
o Average Monthly Volume
o Lowest, Average, Highest Price (on Amazon)
o Estimated FBA fees using Amazon’s calculator
o Landed Cost (Product Cost from Supplier + Estimated Shipping Cost)
o Gross Profit
