Key Responsibilities:
Contract Oversight: Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and revising of contracts, quotations, tender documents, and contract variations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Invoice Management: Carefully review and process invoices from subcontractors and suppliers, confirming their accuracy and consistency with contract terms.
Project Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on project timelines and budgets, proactively reporting any potential issues or delays to management.
Documentation Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive filing system for project-related documents, inclusive of contracts, drawings, and correspondence, ensuring they remain current and retrievable.
Coordination: Serve as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee seamless coordination and project execution.
Reporting: Contribute to the development of precise progress and cost tracking reports for management’s review.
Procurement Assistance: Facilitate the procurement process through obtaining competitive quotes, negotiating favourable terms, and nurturing positive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field is highly desirable.
Relevant Experience: Between 1-3 years of experience in a similar capacity, with a preference for candidates with a background in the construction or building sector.
Contractual Knowledge: Solid comprehension of contract management principles, including the ability to interpret complex contracts and legal terminology.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled use of Project Management tools and Microsoft Office Suite, with a special emphasis on Excel for cost tracking purposes.
Communication: Exceptional communication and engagement skills are required for effective dealings with various project stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and superlative organisational skills to manage intricate project documentation and oversee concurrent projects.
Adaptability: Thriving within a fast-paced environment, managing shifting priorities and meeting deadlines with poise.
