Experienced Virtual Assistant for Accounts Payable, Admin Research, and Cold Calling – Upwork


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Virtual Assistant with experience in bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and cold calling to support our growing businesses. You will be working with two distinct businesses: a commercial air conditioning install and repair company, and a pickup and delivery residential laundry service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and has a strong track record of managing similar tasks efficiently.

You will be required to be available during Australian Business Timezone Hours (Melb/Syd).

Responsibilities:
– Weekly Invoicing: Manage and prepare invoices for both businesses, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
– Accounts Payable: Track and manage accounts payable, ensuring bills are paid on time and records are accurately maintained.
– Administrative Research: Conduct research on various topics related to business operations, market trends, and potential new clients.
– Cold Calling: Reach out to potential clients to introduce our services, schedule appointments, and follow up on leads.
– General Administrative Support: Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed to support business operations.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, particularly in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
– Strong understanding of invoicing and accounts payable processes.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Experience with cold calling and client outreach.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Xero invoicing software.
– Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for conducting calls.

**Preferred Skills:**
– Familiarity with the service businesses.
– Experience with Xero, CRM systems and project management tools.
