Marketing Projects Manager for Online School – Upwork


We are looking for experienced Marketing Project Manager with proven track record of managing marketing projects for online school/coach/influencer, available for 35 hours a week, during 9-5 Pacific Time hours (mandatory requirement).

You`ll be responsible for managing all marketing projects, including funnel projects, social media projects, partnerships projects, podcast projects, website and blog projects, and email newsletter execution.

You will work with a diverse team of managers and executors including a media buyer, social media manager, copywriter, designer, partnership manager, podcast managers, video editor, and a team of 3 high ticket sales closers.

With the leadership of Marketing Leader and a support of a dedicated Marketing Coordinator, your mission will be to ensure that all marketing projects align with our annual vision and goals set by our founder, Alyssa Nobriga.

While final content approvals will be the purview of the Marketing Leader, you will have the authority to make day-to-day decisions and approvals.

A typical day in your role looks like:

– Daily Check-Ins
Begin each day with a quick review of project statuses and priorities using ClickUp. Conduct brief check-in with the Marketing Coordinator to align on the day’s tasks and address any immediate needs.

– Weekly Planning Sessions
Host weekly planning sessions with the project teams to outline the week’s objectives, assign tasks, and set deadlines. Utilize this time to address any concerns or roadblocks that could impact project timelines.

– Project Overseeing
Throughout the week, engage in regular communication with team members via Slack for asynchronous updates and Zoom for synchronous meetings. This includes coordinating with project teams and optimizing project workflows.

– Quality Review, Decisions and Approvals
Allocate time daily for reviewing and approving delivered tasks, ensuring they align with project plans and goals. Prepare and present materials requiring final approval to the CEO or founder, as needed.

– Project Progress Tracking
End each week with a review of project achievements against KPIs, analyzing what worked well and identifying areas for improvement. Share insights and progress reports with the CEO and prepare for strategic adjustments in the upcoming week.

Overall, you are responsible for:
