Remote Office Support Specialist to Provide Call Center Support; Virtual Scribe

Must be a Fluent Spanish speaker with Excellent English Proficiency.

Be able to work during Eastern Standard Time for at least 7 hours between 8 am and 5 pm, weekdays and Saturdays / Sundays, work week 5-6 days a week. You get days off during the week

Must have excellent phone manners and written communication skills.
– Respond to phone calls
– Develop expertise in the healthcare industry and our services
– Verify and explain healthcare benefits to patients
– Learn and explain the healthcare services that we offer
– Schedule appointments
– Obtain medical history and document it
– Experience with health benefit policies and regulations, benefit claims, and appeals are beneficial.
– We are seeking an individual who thinks on their feet, tech-savvy.
– We are looking for an independent ‘problem-solver’ ‘-minded individual who is capable of making everyone happy.
– Reliability is a must.
– Follow HIPAA rules; be able to confidentially discuss private medical issues with male and female patients, such as sexual health and urinary incontinence, in a professional manner.
– Would be trained to understand CPT, ICD9/10, modifier use, CCI guidelines, and payor guidelines.
  

Skills/Requirements-
Reliable high-speed internet, 2 computer monitors
PC-based business applications software such as Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, EMR- Proper English grammar, usage, spelling, and punctuation; modern business office procedures, including filing systems, business correspondence, and telephone techniques.- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.

Tasks:
Answer phone calls, emails
Schedule Appointments
Obtain patient history; enter data into digital application (software / EMR)
Call insurance companies to verify benefits and eligibility
Assist with various administrative tasks
Assist with patient-centered administrative tasks – will train.
Data entry into our systems
Run reports
