Part-Time Content and Marketing Assistant – Upwork


Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Content and Marketing Assistant to join our team as an independent contractor. This part-time role is crucial for maintaining our online presence, ensuring high-quality content delivery, and optimizing our outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks, communicating effectively, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Daily Review: Monitor Slack, Asana, and email notifications to stay updated on tasks and communications.
Podcast Management: Schedule new podcast episodes on Libsyn, create podcast artwork using ChatGPT and Canva, and submit transcripts to Rev.com.
Content Coordination: Provide new podcast transcripts to our content writer weekly.
Video and Social Media Management: Schedule YouTube long videos and shorts, generate descriptions using Descript, optimize SEO, and engage with comments to boost engagement.
Social Media Posting: Schedule and audit posts on Facebook, Gettr, TruthSocial, LinkedIn, and Clapper to ensure they are appropriate and effective.
Email Campaigns: Schedule emails in Active Campaign and Get Response, review content for spelling and grammatical errors, ensure proper linking, and maintain high standards of communication.
Content Auditing: Review all content before posting to ensure quality and appropriateness.
Prompt Communication: Maintain prompt and effective communication with the team.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Slack, Asana, Google Suites (Gmail, Calendar, etc.), and other project management tools.
Experience with social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Gettr, TruthSocial, LinkedIn, and Clapper.
Familiarity with podcast platforms (Libsyn), content creation tools (Canva, ChatGPT), and transcription services (Rev.com).
At least 2 years of experience with Active Campaign and Get Response.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
Basic understanding of SEO and engagement strategies.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Self-starter, comfortable working 100% remotely.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$15.00
