Attorney for Disputing a Chargeback – Upwork

I own an event space business. I have a client who has booked her event with me. She paid $525. Had her event on 2/17/24. On 2/25/24, I received an alert that she reported this charge is unauthorized with her bank however this is a valid charge and I have the proof service has been done. Service was done with Stripe being the 3rd party as the payment processor within the agreement form we use, which is Jotform. I just found out Stripe automatically debits the dispute amount from businesses account before anything is settled. Stripe also stated the dispute process is between my me, bank and the person who is disputing the charge and their bank. This has interfered with my account tremendously here. How do I get this issue resolved?

I have my client’s filled agreement, signature and ID all within the agreement she has signed and payment she made. My only concern is, the payment method she used is attached to a different name other then hers.

Both the agreement with client’s name shares the same email address with the name under payment and dispute. I also require Stripe to verify the zipcode inputted matches the billing address with the person’s bank in order to receive an approval booking. This was approved.

My agreement also states all payments are final. No refunds issued.

***Also, Please see agreement. She paid the additional $150 for the Refundable Security Fee. Guidelines were met and we refunded her the $150 Refundable Security Fee on 2/23/24 with a thank you message. She replied with “Amazing building , Thanks again.”

After sending all my proofs through Stripe. I have receive an update stating my client’s bank has decided in the favor of the client.

What can be done to overturn this? Now my client owes me $540.00.

I am looking for someone to reach out have communication with my client to resolve this issue.
