Job Description:
Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Intake/Case Manager/Paralegal. As a solo practice that is just starting, this position is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client service. This is a full-time role with the potential for growth as the firm expands.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering Calls:
-Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current clients.
-Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
-Provide information to clients and potential clients about the services offered by the firm.
Conducting Intake:
Conduct initial client consultations to gather detailed information about their legal needs.
Evaluate potential clients’ cases to determine if they meet the firm’s criteria for representation.
Accurately document and record all relevant information during the intake process.
Case Management:
-Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring all files are up-to-date and organized.
-Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and respond to their inquiries.
-Prepare and organize case files, documents, and evidence for attorney review.
Medical Management:
-Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary records and reports.
-Assist clients with scheduling medical appointments and ensuring they follow through with medical treatment.
-Review and summarize medical records for attorney review.
-Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support to the attorney, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
-Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings as directed.
-Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the firm.
