Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced corporate lawyer to spearhead the sourcing and establishment of a broker dealer partnership. This role involves not only securing the partnership but also ensuring that the broker dealer brings all necessary certifications and aligns with our detailed financial arrangements.
Responsibilities:
Source and secure a broker dealer who brings all relevant certifications required for brokerage activities.
Negotiate an agreement that includes a 5% brokerage fee on all funds raised, with our company receiving a referral fee of 90% of this 5%.
Draft, review, and ensure the broker dealer agreement aligns with our strategic objectives, particularly focusing on a non-dilutable MFN (Most Favored Nation) stock assignment of 1% directly to us.
Manage compliance with all relevant financial and corporate regulations through the broker dealer.
Resolve any disputes or legal issues through predetermined arbitration methods.
Requirements:
Licensed attorney with extensive experience in financial services and corporate law.
Proven track record in sourcing broker dealers with the necessary certifications and negotiating complex financial agreements.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, especially related to brokerage activities.
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
