Seeking Experienced Business Lawyer with Knowledge of Ontario Regulations for Contract Drafting – Upwork

We are ISWAD (Intelligent System Web App Development), a leading provider of comprehensive software development solutions based in Ontario, Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced business lawyer with knowledge of Ontario regulations to assist us with drafting contracts for our internship positions. As we continue to grow and expand our team, ensuring that our internship agreements comply with local laws and regulations is paramount to our success.

Responsibilities:
1. Review our existing internship contract templates and provide recommendations for enhancements to ensure compliance with Ontario regulations.
2. Draft new internship contracts tailored to our company’s needs and the requirements of Ontario laws and regulations.
3. Customize contract language to address specific terms and conditions, including confidentiality, intellectual property rights, termination procedures, and liability limitations.
4. Ensure that contracts adhere to Ontario laws, including employment standards, privacy regulations, and other relevant legislation.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance on contract-related matters specific to Ontario regulations.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a business lawyer with expertise in contract drafting and business law.
2. In-depth knowledge of Ontario regulations and familiarity with employment standards, privacy laws, and other relevant legislation.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to draft precise and legally binding agreements.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
