Digital Marketing Assistant to Online Entrepreneur (Content / Community + Project Management) – Upwork

I am looking for a brilliant, experienced and committed Online Marketing Assistant / Project Manager who is passionate about their work, diligent, extremely reliable, an outstanding communicator and a dedicated team player.

The main focus of this role will be supporting the myself (the CEO) with content creation + management, community support + marketing project management.

The role is approx 10-15 hours per week to start. There is the possibility for this to expand.

The pay rate is between $30-40 AUD per hour (including gst), depending on experience.

While it is not a requirement that you are based near us (Thornbury, VIC, Australia), it would be a bonus so we can occasionally meet up face to face (Zoom of course works too).

You are a content creation ninja, who can compose a witty and on-brand Facebook post with your eyes shut (or open… if you prefer!)

You are fast, accurate and fantastic at using the resources available to you to find your own solutions, but you will of course feel comfortable to ask if you need to as well.

You are fantastic at keeping track of lots of little tasks, as well as keeping your eye on the big picture too.

You are passionate about creating amazing experiences for clients, customers and followers.

You are friendly, and personable, and a great sense of humour would be a bonus.

You are a real team player, but also able to work independently and self-sufficiently when needed.

You are the kind of person who is always on the look-out for better and smarter ways to do things.

You geek out over the latest marketing trends, and love nerding out on the latest strategies and tools in the online marketing space.

Someone with a real can-do attitude, no job is too big or too small.

You are so organised, your post-its have post-its!

Previous experience in email marketing, using social media platforms, online courseware, managing online groups and communities, and customer support..  is also a must.

You have a really fun, accessible written tone (and hell, just a great, positive personality too!).

Fast learner of CMS and website systems (I know this is in here twice, but technophobes really won't suit this role at all!)

Fast & accurate with top shelf attention to detail.

You possess a healthy amount of initiative and also common sense!

Icing on the cake is previous experience working for an online coach, course creator or other online brand.

Oh, and you must have access to reliable Internet from home.

>> The Role

This role is equal parts content manager, community nurturer and marketing project manager.

Tasks include:
– Monitoring, moderating, engaging with and contributing to our client Facebook groups
– Scheduling all events and posts into the groups
– Co-Monitoring customer service inbox
– Monitoring and moderating social media for comments + questions
– Podcast outreach
– You will be the keeper (and enforcer) of our marketing, content and promotion plans.
– You will project manage our internal and external promotions and launches, ensuring they run smoothly, and on time.
– Creating + sending weekly newsletters
– Repurposing weekly videos into multi platform content – aka Taking weekly video and scheduling to Facebook, creating and “SEOing” a blog post, adding to Youtube and writing killer description and caption etc. .
– Helping with course content updates and admin
– Create + manage content around launches and promotions

>> Timing & Availability:  

10-15 hours a week

There is the possibility of further hours being available for the right candidate.

This is a paid role.
