AutoCAD Structural Designer to Detail Steelwork on Offshore Installations – Upwork

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Structural Designer to join our team and produce accurate 3D models and drawings of steel structures for offshore installations. As an expert in AutoCAD, you will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, creating 3D models, layouts, and technical drawings that adhere to British standards and specifications.  The ideal candidate should have a strong background in structural design, extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, and a keen attention to detail.

We are looking for an intermediate-level designer who can confidently handle the scope of work with a degree of autonomy and deliver high-quality results.

Our current project is small however it is an opportunity for you to work with us on future projects. We have various ladder safety gates which need to be replaced. We’d like them replaced with dropdown safety bars. There are 5-7 gates which need replacing. Sketches have been made and dimensioned up, all there is to do is to model the existing steelwork in AutoCAD 3D, model the drop down safety gate and create the drawings detailing the new dropdown safety gate for fabrication.  Typical and example drawings will be provided.

Hourly Range: $6.00-$19.00
