1. Model Rittal Enclosure with CAD files from Rittal website including parts:
a. Enclosure –Rittal AE Series 304 Stainless Steel Wall Box, IP66, 300 mm x 380 mm x 155mm, Part No.: 1004600
b. Rittal RAL 9011 Plastic Locking Handle, Part No.: 2533000
2. Produce a mounting bracket for the Rittal Enclosure above using Sheet Metal in SOLIDWORKS.
a. Model the fasteners with standard toolbox (BSI Hex Head Coarse and ISO Nyloc Nuts are preferred method). All fasteners should be stainless steel.
b. The cabinet will be wall mounted to a steel plate behind the cabinet. The plate is 15mm thick and can be modelled. It sits central on the plate of 1m x 400mm x 15mm. The enclosure must be 75mm away from the steel plate and the mounting bracket must be bolted to the steel plate.
Deliverables
1. SOLIDWORKS Assembly in a SOLIDWORKS version before 2022.
2. An assembly drawing completed to BS 8888 or equivalent showing the steel plate, Rittal enclosure, fixings and a BOM.
3. A manufacturing drawing for the mounting bracket that fixes the enclosure to the plate.
