The Sourcers are crucial members of MingGlobal and Merch and Effect with a view to finding high quality products and suppliers effectively, maintaining relationships with those suppliers as
well as contributing to overall success for the company’s offerings.
What You’ll Be Up To
1. Search for suppliers – Sourcers actively search for potential suppliers and build relationships with them.
2. Maintaining supplier relationships – Effective communication and collaboration are essential to ensure a smooth supply chain.
3. Obtaining quotes from suppliers – Sourcers obtain quotes from different suppliers. They compare prices, evaluate quality, and negotiate terms to secure the best deals for the company
4. Maintain supplier database – Keep suppliers database updated and perform regular checks of supplier data.
5. Research for new materials and trends in manufacturing
What you need to have:
1. Comfortable with sourcing and building a robust pipeline
2. Excellent research skills
3. Strict attention to detail
4. A self-starter and proactive mindset
5. Experience with diversity sourcing
6. Familiarity with materials and production process
